Golden Opportunity: Vogue Magazine to Showcase Gold Jewelry Trends for Fall 2006

WEST CHESTER, Pa., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Known as the golden guidebook for the fashion fabulous, Vogue magazine is the place to turn to for the scoop on the latest high-style trends. This fall, one of the most anticipated looks is the gleam of bold Italian gold jewelry, and for that, QVC(R) is the retailer to shop. Together QVC and Vogue will showcase the hottest signature gold pieces for the season in the two-hour Gold Expressions broadcast slated to air on Monday, July 17 from 6-8 PM (ET).

During the show, QVC will present the latest 14-karat gold designs from some of Italy's most renowned goldsmiths. Vogue's Merchandising Editor Anne Vincent is scheduled to be QVC's special guest, giving viewers expert tips on the best ways to incorporate these bold gold pieces with the fashion-forward looks that graced fall runways.

The 14-karat gold pieces presented in QVC's upcoming broadcast are all part of a new collection compiled by the World Gold Council and the Vicenza Fair, both trade organizations committed to the development and growth of the Italian gold market. The collection, called Gold Expressions: The Language of Italian Design(TM), features a unique assortment of intricate gold craftsmanship from fifty of the top gold companies in Italy. With prices ranging from approximately $85.00 to $1,200.00, it is an accessible mix of the most current and highly innovative designs.
