Go Ahead Smell Good for the Planet!

WARRENDALE, Pa., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- rue21, the dominant teen specialty value retailer is launching two new exclusive eco-friendly fragrances for Girls and Guys, named revert, in 40 of its doors to celebrate Earth Day, April 22, 2008 and will launch in all stores for back to school 08.

The name revert comes from "re" to remind you to re-duce, re-use, re-cycle and "vert" from the French word vert, that means green.

It is hip to go green and rue21 is doing its part by introducing these two earth friendly fragrances, using recycled paper for the cartons and earth friendly oils in the fragrance.

"revert is one way rue21 can raise awareness and talk about the importance of doing small things to save the planet. We are hoping to send a socially- conscious message to our customers through an eco-friendly product. It's good to go green," said Bob Fisch, President & CEO of rue21.

The girl's fragrance is flirty, with a soothing scent to calm all earthly tensions. The guy's fragrance has a bright bold scent, giving you the confidence to battle all those earthly pressures.

In July, the Company will celebrate the opening of its 100th etc! store, carrying an extensive selection of accessories, shoes, belts and handbags. The etc! stores carry what every girl wants including the eco-friendly fragrances as well as the original successful line of exclusive fragrances.

rue21 has 370 stores throughout the US and will open 90 stores this year.
