Rampage Announces Ultra Sexy Supermodel to Appear in Fall Advertising Campaign

NEW YORK, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Iconix Brand Group (NASDAQ:ICON) (the "Company") announced today that sexy cover girl, Petra Nemcova will appear in its Rampage brand's fall print advertising and internet campaign. The supermodel is an integrated part of a new strategy to position Rampage as a sophisticated and sexy lifestyle brand for the young contemporary customer. The print ads will break in September issues of fashion and lifestyle magazines such as InStyle, Elle and Cosmopolitan.

The campaign was created by Iconix in-house marketing team and shot by famed fashion photographer, Gilles Bensimon.

Commenting on her new ads, Petra Nemcova, stated, "I think all women want to feel sexy and confident yet comfortable at the same time in what they wear. Rampage clothes and accessories are easy to wear and make women feel great. This is my second season working with the Rampage team and I was thrilled with the past ads and I can't wait for this new campaign to break. It is more sexy and darker then the last campaign."

Dari Marder, Creative Director, Rampage, stated, "Petra is the quintessential Rampage woman. She is strong, confident and sexy. She exemplifies the glamorous style Rampage consumers strive for. Our goal with this campaign was to position Rampage as an aspirational brand for the young contemporary market. The new creative is dramatic and chic and will position Rampage as a luxury brand."

This season the Rampage Relief Fund, which facilitates global aid and relief to individuals, communities and others in despair, is proud to donate a portion of all Rampage sales to Petra's charity, the Happy Hearts Funds which benefits the children devastated by the Tsunami."

Petra will make special personal appearances on behalf of the brand at select retailers nationwide to promote the new fall collection of apparel and accessories.
