WALNUT CREEK, Calif., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Pageantry Perfume, developed specifically for the Miss America Scholarship Fund, began a 22-day launch tour May 9 in Los Angeles that culminates with Miss America's visit to the Bay Area May 30 - 31. To help promote this new fragrance, created by Bob Aliano, master of other famous fragrances such as Giorgio of Beverly Hills, Red, and Hugo, Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry will be making special appearances at Longs Drugs, the current California exclusive retailer of Pageantry.

The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance. Jennifer Berry will begin her Bay Area tour by visiting UCSF Children's Hospital on May 30th followed by a special appearance at Longs Drugs in San Ramon at 2455 San Ramon Valley Road from 2:00 to 3:30. On Wednesday, May 31st she will make special appearances at these East Bay Longs Drug stores:

-- Danville at 3420 Camino Tassajara Noon to 1:30
-- Walnut Creek at 1123 Walnut Creek South California Blvd. 2:00 - 3:30
-- Walnut Creek at 738 Bancroft Road 4:00 - 5:30

The public is invited to meet Miss America, learn about the scholarship programs and to experience Pageantry Perfume. Jennifer Berry will autograph bottles of Pageantry, a one of a kind fragrance of soft fruits and florals, with notes of vanilla and amber, which retails at $34.99 for 3.4 Fl. ounces.
