Now, more than ever, many high-school girls across the country are starting to worry about what dress they'll wear to Prom '09, and more importantly, how they will be able to afford it. Modern Bride magazine's "Project Bridesmaids" event on March 7th to benefit Planet Hope will be their answer…

What: Modern Bride magazine's "Project Bridesmaids" to benefit Planet Hope, which will distribute lovingly worn bridesmaid dresses donated by women in the tri-state area to high-school girls across the country attending Prom '09. Donators will receive complimentary beauty consultations and makeovers, a runway fashion show of the latest trends in wedding dresses and accessories, a chance to win a trip to Barbados and other great prizes, food, drinks, musical performances, gift bags, discounted shopping, gift registry ideas and tips and lots more.

When: Saturday, March 7th from noon – 5pm

Where: Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 West 34th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues, (212) 485-1534

Public Transportation: Take the A, B, C, D, E, F, 1 or 2 Trains to 34th Street. LIRR or New Jersey transit can also be used (take to Penn Station located at 8th Avenue and 32nd Street).

Price: Cost of entry is a dress donation (no monetary entrance fee)
