New License for Karl Lagerfeld SAS Handbags, Small Leather Goods and Luggage

NEW YORK, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- KARL LAGERFELD SAS announced today they have entered into a strategic license agreement with Accessory Network Group LLC ("ANG") to design, manufacture and distribute Karl Lagerfeld handbags, small leather goods and luggage under their Prestige Brands Division.

The license extends the KARL LAGERFELD brand into three important new categories that will be designed to complement the core apparel lines. The handbags, small leather goods and luggage will be available at retail in Fall 2008 and will be sold in select department stores and specialty stores worldwide.

The Karl Lagerfeld license will be housed within ANG's Prestige Brands Division which is headed by President, Michele (Mickey) Ateyeh. "To be the caretaker of a brand as respected as Karl Lagerfeld is not only a privilege but a great responsibility, which we at Accessory Network take very seriously. The addition of this iconic designer name to an already impressive roster of brands most certainly fits perfectly into the future of our Prestige Division," said Michele Ateyeh.

The Prestige Division currently includes the wholly owned Ghurka as well as licenses for Calvin Klein, ck Calvin Klein and ISAAC Isaac Mizrahi, the Designer's bridge collection.
