Fashion in Film: Period Costumes for the Screen ends it record-breaking run at Winterthur on Sunday, January 7. More than 38,000 visitors have seen the exhibition since its opening on September 30, 2006. Featuring 36 magnificent period costumes crafted by cinema’s top designers—many singled out for Academy Award™ and other nominations for costume design, the exhibition has costumes worn by Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Elizabeth Taylor, and Drew Barrymore’s dress from Ever After (image attached).

Yuletide at Winterthur: Wrapped in Holiday Style also closes on January 7. The annual exhibition features historic holiday celebrations, as well as the first public exhibition of Sable, painted by Jamie Wyeth and loaned by Mrs. Jamie Wyeth (image attached). More than 23,000 visitors have seen this year’s tour!
