NEW YORK, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- As we are in the holiday season, fashion trendsetters are frantically trying to find the perfect outfit for the Christmas and New Year's bashes. This hectic process could easily be eliminated if we all had our own personal stylists. To help ease this situation, up and coming designer, Kimberly Larc (who debuted her Renee Larc for Milan 08 collection at NYC's Fashion Week) offers tips on dresses, shoes, handbags, eyewear and accessories on what's "fashion forward" this season.

"When looking for the right outfit to wear to the holiday parties, you don't want to wear things that over power your inner self. You want to be able to feel comfortable and confident with your outfit," says Kimberly Larc.

Shoes:

Just because the temperature has dropped a few degrees, it doesn't mean you have to hide your toes. Peep toe heels are still a great option for those that want to show a little sex appeal during the colder months. Women also should consider wearing heels that have a little more of a platform heel. This is a great "safety net" in that you are able to still be comfortable and wear a higher heel that doesn't make the balls of your feet burn.

Eyewear:

For those who wear glasses like I do, frames are a complementary piece to accessorize any outfit. This season, "cat eye" frames will be a popular hit along with frames that have decorative detailing. Also, remember that there are many terrific lens options that can keep you on the forefront of fashion, and in the know about protecting the long-term health of your eyes.  For prescription lens wearers, consider fitting your favorite designer frames with Transitions(R) lenses.  Not only do Transitions offer convenience and a great look as they automatically change from clear indoors to sunglass-dark outdoors, they provide you with the latest in photochromic lens technology that blocks 100 percent of UV rays protecting your eyes today and tomorrow. What's more, they also protect the delicate skin around the eyes from sun damage, which can cause premature wrinkling.

Dresses:

Fitted dresses are the way to end the year and bring in a new. Fitted dresses in a stretch satin material and knee length are great for women that have the "hour glass" figure. Any style from strapless to sweetheart really accentuates women curves.

Coats:

Even though it is wintertime there is no need to hide your gorgeous gown or dress behind a bulky Coat. Designer Renee Larc for Milan says women should opt for a caplet or a nice belted waist trench coat. The caplet is perfect if you want a sleek sexy look and the belted trench coat gives the fit & flare look.

Accessories:

Embellishing an outfit with lots of accessories is the perfect trick on how to make an outfit "pop." Layering bangles in all shapes and sizes and all different designs on one wrist is a great way to be differentiating. Another option for differentiating an outfit is to wear over size rings in exotic colors. Just like diamonds are becoming popular in different colors it also fashion forward in other aspects of jewelry as well.

Handbags:

Handbags that are big and bold are hot trends for the season. Long clutches make a statement for any occasion.
