Best Postnatal Program at Exhale Spa

New York Magazine named Exhale Spa's Six-week total body transformation Best Postnatal Program. The six-week program is set up to ensure that your body recovers sanely, and that you stick to the plan. Each week, a program coordinator sees that you book a minimum of two Vinyasa flow-yoga sessions and three core fusion classes- exhale's trademark hour of stretching and muscle building focuses specifically on the difficult-to-tone transverse abdominal muscles (the ones that pregnancy pulls apart). Weekly meetings with a nutritionist will help fast-track your body-fat reduction; and weekly sessions of acupuncture help stimulate energy flow and spark your metabolism.

It is recommended that while on the program, participants attend a minimum of 3 Core Fusion classes and 2 yoga classes a week. This would equal a total of 30 classes over the course of the program. Core Fusion will tone, shape and energize you, while yoga relaxes the body and mind. You'll get to the point where your body will burn calories even at rest.

Each person on the program will work one-on-one with an exhale Wellness Coach to come up with a realistic routine that will allow change to take place with troublesome habits and stress level. There will be one meeting every week so that the individual's progress can be effectively tracked and monitored.

Another part of the program is working with an acupuncturist. This allows the body's organs to function properly, promoting easier digestion and fully utilizing the energy the body produces. This will help with ravenous appetites, cravings for sweets, or even constipation, gas and bloating. There are 6 one-hour sessions included with the program.

Once the individual sits with the Wellness Coach and designs their specific routine, it may change a bit based on their personal needs.
