Fuses the Inspiration of Art with Fashion for its 2006 Fall Collection New York, NY – Erebelle, the first women’s luxury lifestyle clothing line to dedicate each season’s complete collection to a series of artwork, melds inspiration with comfort to present it’s Fall 2006 Limited Editions collection. Based in Austin, Texas, Erebelle fuses together the beauty of art with the supple fabrics and expressive colors that create the collection. Striving to provide apparel inspired by an artist’s work, with a maximum comfort level and movement, Erebelle allows the wearer to express herself in whatever she does. Erebelle’s Fall 2006 collection is composed of several design elements, including pin tucks that lengthen the look for a more lean silhouette, gathers that soften the design and add an element of femininity, invisible pockets that are functional without being distracting, and differing lengths that allow the wearer the ability to layer or conceal. The styles consist of pants, shorts, hoodies, skirts, shorts, and several tops in sleeveless and long-sleeve options. An added bonus to the line is a diverse fold-over piece whose function serves as a skirt or a top that can be worn gathered or smoothed out. The fold-over pant incorporates this same detail along with a lean, flattering pant leg. Erebelle uses a heavy gauge Supplex/Spandex blend, selected for its superior fit, maximum comfort, suppleness, durability and color-fastness. The Fall 2006 collection’s color palette stems from earth tones that are based on two new paintings in the Elemental artist series: • Sunrays: serene contemplation in the deep earthy glow of golden sunrays • E: intertwined energy The names of the colors and hues are inspired by a 2-inch square of silk detailed with the Elemental series artwork affixed to each piece of clothing and lining the foot of this page. The Austin, Texas based Erebelle is created by Tina Schweiger and Eric Simone. Schweiger is the founder of Spoonbend, formerly Yellow Fin Inc. (http://www.spoonbend.com ) a local graphic design studio. In pursuing her personal art however, she goes by the moniker YellowfinTina, and is also the creator of the Elemental series. Simone, a former computer industry entrepreneur, now owns and operates the Austin boutique, Girl Next Door (http://www.girlnd.com). Related Articles
