Women 4 Success Group, Common Ground Collective Women's Center, and Cover Girl Queen Collection Teams Up With International Hair Stylists Giselle Modeste, Celebrity Make-up & Skincare Artist Danessa Myricks, and Hope Encalade, Executive Director of Dress for Success To Help Make This Year's 'A Day Of Beauty' A Memorable Experience

NEW YORK, June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- WOMEN 4 SUCCESS GROUP proudly presents "A DAY OF BEAUTY" in a special tribute to the women and children that have survived the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina. On Sunday, June 24th from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., /CT, the Women's 4 Success Group's Traveling Make-Over Team will transform the Common Ground Collective Women's Center, a Women's & Children Shelter, in New Orleans into a luxurious day spa.

The "Day Of Beauty" will include innovative celebrity hair styles by Giselle Modeste, Founder of Women 4 Success Group and Owner of Textures Salon; personalized make-up and skin care sessions by Danessa Myricks. In addition to the make-overs, the women of the Common Ground Collective Center will be treated to a catered lunch workshop called "The Make-Up Of A Successful Interview" by Hope Encalade, Executive Director of Dress for Success (New Orleans, LA). "The Make-Up Of A Successful Interview workshop will focus on tips on how to prepare for an effective interview. The Chadwick's Of Boston and Westside Clothing Company will also be contributing by donating clothing to the Common Ground Collective Women's Shelter.

Women 4 Success Group is a fiscally sponsored emerging non-profit organization, dedicated to enhancing the lives of women through out the United States with the help of dedicated beauty/fashion professionals. Women 4 Success first endeavor in partnership with the Cover Girl Queen Collection will support the Common Ground Collective Women's Center in New Orleans.

Women 4 Success and Cover Girl Queen Collection is committed to supporting the Common Ground Women's Center in its tireless effort of helping to rebuild people's lives in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. The Common Ground Women's Center objective, first and foremost, is to assist in keeping women and their children in a safe haven once they have returned to New Orleans and provide daily living necessities that we so often take for granted, while helping them back onto the road to independence.

ABOUT COMMON GROUND COLLECTIVE WOMEN'S CENTER:

Common Ground Collective Women's Center was founded in 2005 and is based in New Orleans. Common Ground's mission is to provide short term relief for victims of hurricane disasters in the gulf coast region, and long term support in rebuilding the communities affected in the New Orleans area. The Women's Center provides support as well as solidarity in helping with health care provided and job training opportunities as they work towards rebuilding their lives and homes in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
