LOS ANGELES (Feb. 2, 2009) -- "Confessions of A Shopaholic" star Isla Fisher has confessed that shapewear, along with a rigorous training routine, allowed her to slip into form-fitting clothes for the movie only months after giving birth.  Sassybax Shapewear, known for its seamless bras that eliminate back fat, plays a critical role in the wardrobe of the stylish redhead.

"I don't consider it a confession when a woman owns up to wearing body shapers," contends Amanda Horan Kennedy, founder and CEO of Sassybax Shapewear and former Hollywood actress. "I consider her a smart dresser."  Although Fisher has a naturally petite frame, she also has naturally feminine curves that Sassybax shapers flatter though problem-solution approaches to design.  Fisher's charisma and fantastic fashions created by Hollywood costumer Patricia Field steal the show in "Shopaholic," but Kennedy thinks that Sassybax's supporting role in the film will also earn women's applause.

Hollywood's most celebrated stylists and costume designers equip their wardrobe kits with Sassybax's seamless shapewear and backless bras.  From Phillip Bloch to Rachel Zoe, they prescribe Sassybax's patented shapers under clingy and fitted clothes that have zero tolerance for lines and bulges.  Sassybax is commonplace at award shows and premieres, so it is no surprise that Fisher has a full wardrobe for her Feb. 5 New York premiere and countless press interviews.

Sitting in her Los Angeles headquarters, Kennedy made her own confession about shapewear.  The former size-2 actress, known then as Barbara Horan, admits she wishes she had the secret shapewear weapons that actresses now have. "I would have breathed a lot easier in all of those wonderful tight dresses had I had Sassybax underneath."

About Sassybax

Sassybax Shapewear is a privately held company located in Los Angeles and founded by Amanda Horan Kennedy.  In 2004, it introduced a collection of shapewear bras that broke tradition by focusing on a woman's back to eliminate common figure and wardrobe problems, such as bra bulge, back fat, and visible bra lines.  Today, the multi-million dollar shapewear company holds several patents for creating garments that help women to look and feel more confident.  Sassybax products are available throughout North America at better department and specialty stores and online retailers.  For more information, visit http://www.sassybax.com
