BEIJING, Nov. 5 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- NE.TIGER announced today that it will take part in China Fashion Week for the sixth time since its inception. NE.TIGER is the first Chinese luxury brand to bring us the grand opening ceremony -- this time, with the 2008 NE.TIGER Hua Fu Series.

Mr. Zhang Zhifeng, the founder of NE.TIGER said, "After 5000 years of Chinese civilization, Chinese convenance is famous. But as the most important carrier and symbol of the Chinese civilization and convenance, the Chinese gown, has not yet been inherited. Today, Asia has the kimono in Japan, the Han-Bok in Korea and the Ao Dai in Vietnam, but China does not yet have its own gown to represent the Chinese national spirit. Chinese people shall wear Chinese gowns on formal occasions. The definition of the Chinese gown is threefold. First, it shall show Chinese core culture using traditional Chinese fashion elements to form vivid symbols. Second, it shall carry and combine the cultural characteristics of all Chinese races and minorities to represent a Chinese cultural union. Thirdly, it shall promote Chinese traditional culture and combine with modern and international elements to reflect our era of globalization. The modern Chinese gown shall have such five elements: symbolization, tradition, nation, compatibility and modernity."

Splendid Chinese Color, Long heritage,

The 2008 NE.TIGER Hua Fu Series has a deep understanding about modern Chinese dress. NE.TIGER imbued the series with its own elegance and luxury insights.

"Jin" means the Yun Brocade with 1500 years' history behind the fabric. It uses refined materials, irreplaceable handcraft skills. Its Zhuanghua process can only produce 5cm per day manually, hence the saying, "An inch of Yun Brocade, an inch of gold." It is a luxury among luxuries.

"Xiu" are the traditional Chinese weaving techniques such as the 4 famous embroideries: Su, Yue, Xiang and Shu. All gowns are made manually over a couple days to several months.

While employing traditional fabric techniques, NE.TIGER also engages in promoting traditional Chinese colors. It uses Jin and Xiu as the materials to realize the renaissance of 5 traditional Chinese colors.

The series is divided into 5 traditional Chinese colors: yellow, black, blue, green and red. "Splendid Chinese Color, Splendid Hua Fu" series continues last year's NE.TIGER Phoenix Wedding Gown series using Chinese red with black and gold. Moreover, black, blue and dark green are used as the background to provide a striking contrast with the embroideries.

Races and Minorities Union, East and West Join Together

As the Chinese gowns representing the Chinese national spirit, the NE.TIGER Hua Fu series fully presents national unity, combining fashion elements from over 50 Chinese races and minorities including Han, Zang, Miao, Dai, Yi, and Naxi.

The whole series deeply incorporates Chinese traditional culture into the gowns. The Chinese colors, moonlight skirt, pleat skirt and such design forms as fans, lamps and loricae combine together to make the series elegant and sexy.

While combining ancient and modern, NE.TIGER also tries to link East and West, bringing modern Western fashion inspiration and solid clipping technology into the designs. The designers use georgette, damask, Italy baldachin, lace and Yun Brocade to redefine the western gown, corsage, pleat skirt and fish skirt together with crystal of Swrovski.

Mr. Zhang Zhifeng said, "NE.TIGER's Hua Fu, which rebuilds the Chinese gown and revitalizes fashion civilization, is aiming to help to wake up the Chinese self-identity, in order to help to realize the all-round renaissance of the whole nation."
