Ann Taylor Launches New Beauty Collection

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AnnTaylor Stores Corporation (NYSE:ANN) today announced the launch of its new Beauty collection in all 350 of its Ann Taylor stores and online at http://www.anntaylor.com. The Company indicated that the Beauty initiative is part of its overall long-term strategy for growth.

The new Beauty collection consists of a fine fragrance called possibilities(TM), Ann Taylor, as well as a line of body care products. The Company intends to expand its presence in the beauty category over time, including a line of products for the Company's LOFT division next year.

Supermodel Petra Nemcova has been selected as the face of possibilities. She embodies the confidence, strength and beauty that are at the core of the Ann Taylor client. Adrienne Lazarus, President of Ann Taylor Stores, noted, "Petra is inspirational. Nemcova founded the 'Happy Hearts Fund' charitable foundation. The mission of the Happy Hearts Fund is to globally aid children who have suffered from a disaster, by bridging existing gaps in education, medical support and emotional health. Ann Taylor is proud to support the Happy Hearts Fund with a donation of $2 for each possibilities fragrance purchase made through December 31, 2007, up to a maximum donation of $50,000.
